The Richmond Vegetarian Festival
Saturday, June 23rd
Location: Azalea Gardens in Bryan Park, Richmond, Va
Admission: Free
The Vegetarian Society of Richmond and Vegan Action are delivering an all day event of entertainment, guest speakers, and FOOD! In their 10th year, this outdoor, family-friendly event features everything from live music to an all veggie Iron Chef style cook off!

Vegetarian Summer Fest

Location: The Conference Center at Pitt-Johnstown, University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, PA

Purchasing a full package to the 38th annual conference of the National Vegetarian Society includes meals, events, and accommodations that are well worth the price! Twin Cities VegFest
When: Saturday, July 14th
Location: University of Minnesota, 300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN

This first ever Twin Cities festival welcomes not just vegans and vegetarians, but also omnivores interested in transitioning to or learning about the veggie lifestyle. Featuring tons of exhibitors, food vendors, and free vegan food samples you’ll leave feeling good and never wanting to eat meat again! The focus on this fest it to really educate all who attend of where our food comes from and how being a compassionate vegan or vegetarian benefits all of us.

Veggie Fest
When: August 11-12th
Location: Science of Spirituality Meditation Center, 4S 175 Naperville-Wheaton Rd, Naperville, IL
Admission: Free
Live music, kids and family activities, and speakers from all over the world are just some of the aspects that make this two-day, outdoor festival one of the best. Tips for a healthy diet, green living, buying organic, and spirituality are just some of the topics covered by their featured guest speakers.  There are also food demos with naturally recognized, acclaimed veggie chefs!

Rawstock
When: Saturday, August 25th
Location: Kinsmen Scout Hall, 430 King Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
Admission: Free
This first time food and music festival features 100% raw, vegan food vendors. There are activities for your kids and space for your dogs to run as well! Bring your yoga mat and enjoy free outdoor yoga classes all day long! Also take in music, guest speakers, and live raw cooking demonstrations. On your trip don’t forget to check out the spectacular site of Niagara Falls!

I remember years back when I first went Vegan from Vegetarian, little was known about our diet and there was little to explore. We Vegans had maybe a few friends, our recipes and lots of experimenting in the kitchen. Now there is such a great sense of community. Everyone, everywhere is sharing, giving and tasting with one another.
